Key Bridge LLC and Cognitive Systems Corp. Partner to Provide 3.5 GHz Shared Spectrum Access
McLean, VA – Key Bridge LLC and Cognitive Systems Corp. today announced a strategic partnership to deliver advanced spectrum monitoring and management services in the 3.5 GHz Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) band.
In a joint proposal submitted to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the companies will enable seamless access to 150 MHz of shared spectrum for wireless broadband services under the FCC’s innovative three-tiered dynamic spectrum sharing framework. Cognitive Systems and Key Bridge will provide a complete, secure, and neutral Environmental Sensing Capability (ESC) along the East and West coasts of the United States in support of FCC-certified Spectrum Access Systems. Key Bridge will also operate an open, neutral Spectrum Access System (SAS) and leverage the ESC for comprehensive spectrum monitoring.
The partnership addresses the FCC’s requirements to protect incumbent federal radar operations while fostering innovation in dynamic spectrum access, sharing, and licensing.
