Submitting Our Proposal to Administer a CBRS Environmental Sensing Capability

McLean, VA – Today we submitted our proposal to operate an Environmental Sensing Capability (ESC) for the 3.5 GHz CBRS band.
Our ESC design is neutral, transparent, and built for reliability—providing real-time detection of federal radar incumbents while enabling maximum commercial use of the spectrum.
This submission complements our SAS proposal and reflects years of investment in sensing technology, including the patent we were recently awarded for protecting non-informing transmitters.
I’m confident our approach will help deliver the robust protection and dynamic access the FCC envisioned for CBRS.
We’re eager to collaborate with regulators, SAS administrators, and the broader community as we move toward certification.
