Announcing Phase 1 of Our TV White Space System Public Trial
Date: March 4, 2013
McLean, VA – Today we’re launching Phase 1 of the public trial for our FCC-certified TV White Space database system.
This trial gives developers, manufacturers, and interested parties the opportunity to test channel availability queries, device registration, and incumbent protection features in a real-world environment.
For me, this is an important step toward full commercial deployment. We’ve designed the system to be neutral, reliable, and easy to integrate—maximizing unused spectrum while ensuring zero harm to broadcasters and licensed microphone users.
I invite everyone to participate and provide feedback. Your input will help us refine the platform and strengthen the overall ecosystem.
Access the trial portal at our developer site, and feel free to reach out with questions.
Thank you for helping us bring dynamic spectrum access closer to reality.
