Key Bridge CBRS Sandbox is live: Try before you buy

We’re excited to announce the Key Bridge CBRS Sandbox — a full-featured, non-production environment that lets you explore, test, and evaluate the complete Key Bridge experience with zero billing and zero impact on live operations.

The concept is simple: everything in production, but no billing. It’s a genuine “try before you buy” environment built for developers, integrators, and operators who want to validate workflows, connect real CBSDs, and prove out integrations before committing to production.

Important: Do not use any sandbox information to start a real transmission.
Sandbox is strictly for testing and evaluation. Grants, authorizations, and all other sandbox outputs are **not valid** for live on-air operations.

Getting Started

1. Create your account
   Go to the Account portal:
   https://sandbox.keybridgewireless.com/user

2. Sign in to the Sandbox CBRS Portal
   Once your account is ready, log in here:
   https://sandbox.keybridgewireless.com/cbrs

3. Connect your devices to the Sandbox SAS
   Use the following Spectrum Access System endpoint in your CBSDs:

   https://sas9.cbrs.keybridgewireless.com:9191/cbsd/api/v1.2
   

   • Scheme: HTTPS
   • Port: 9191
   • Authentication: Normal client certificate authentication is required

   Full connection details and your User ID are available under CBRS Profile inside the portal.

What the Sandbox Gives You

• No billing — Evaluate the complete product experience without placing an order or incurring any charges.
• No volume or service limits — Use the portal and SAS freely for testing and evaluation.
• Full portal parity — The sandbox portal matches the production interface and workflows.
• Relaxed device security verifications — Security checks are intentionally eased to make testing and development easier.

What You Can Do

• Provision, test, and evaluate every portal function
• Connect real CBSDs to the sandbox SAS and observe registration, authorization, and ongoing operation
• Exercise bulk transfer, registration, and fleet-management workflows end-to-end

How Sandbox Differs from Production

The sandbox SAS is best-effort only and deliberately isolated from production. It does not fully replicate the live environment:

Additional operational differences:

• CBRS 2.0 is disabled — Heartbeat duty cycle is fixed at 60 seconds
• Grant leases are shortened — Leases expire after 1 hour (shorter than production)
• Device security verifications are relaxed to support testing and development workflows

Other production-only behaviors may also differ. Treat the sandbox as a faithful functional preview of the portal and SAS experience, not a substitute for production spectrum operations.
